I find myself getting sidetrack a lot in Guild Wars.
I have been working of the Skill Hunter title.
I was moving along OK till I came across a elite skill that was the 4 quest in The Titan series.
So then I have to track down all of the quests for that.
And it seem that this sort of sidetrack happens all of the time.
Begging in Guild Wars
I see it all of the time.
At all of levels of the game.
In every city I go to.
And some of the begging is just crazy.
BEGGAR: anyone have 2K for a cape?
ME:Come-on you have got to be kidding.
Beggar: I need 10K for max armor.
and the list goes on and on…
Today I have the fastest guild membership ever 22 seconds.
Me: Welcome to the guild
Member: thanks….do you have any gold
ME:the boot
and then they got all upset with me cuz I booted them, go figure.
Heroes In Guild Wars
Have heroes ruined guild wars?
I am not to sure but they sure have put a dent in PUG’s (Pick Up Group).
Now days everyone just want to play the game solo or with just Henchmen and Heroes.
I have waited in towns for hours for a team to form…only to get feed up and use my H/H to do the quest or mission.
Heroes have even killed the need for Guilds and the team support that come from them.
Guilds are a place to hang out chat with friends and adventure together.
Get help when you need it, to get an answer to a simple question..
Guild Members would rather quest with heroes then with with real people.
For me I would rather quest with a person then a hero any day.
Have heroes ruined guild wars?
You tell me!
As you know I hang out in Ascalon City helping new players.
One of the most asked question I get is about leveling.
I started this toon 2 days ago.
It took me 20 hours of game time to reach level 20
[singlepic id=2]
I did not use any scrolls or did any power levling.
I did it all with just henchmen and heros.
its really not that hard to reach level 20.
All you have to do is play the game
